Few things in life are easier to mismanage than our anger/rage. We can all benefit from examining our anger/rage management styles. Most of us feel anger, and enraged, from time to time. We tend to be more, or less, prone to managing our anger/rage responsibly. Abusive individuals, with abusive mentalities, will often lack intrinsic motivation to want to suspend their self-license to bully and control selected others. But generally speaking, when the sincere motivation to manage our anger/rage more responsibly is present, it’s very possible to do so. This often starts with a careful examination of how we manage our disappointment. Poor anger/rage management often derives from poor disappointment-management.
