As human beings, we seem to possess unique, and often creative, ways to sabotage our better interests. In fact, the range of what we can sabotage, how, and why are pretty endless. Ultimately, it’s wise to understand our self-sabotaging tendencies, and equally wise to learn to effectively manage them so that we can “get out of own way” in pursuit of worthwhile goals. After all, we don’t want to perpetuate patterns of ruining good things and missing chances and opportunities to make important accomplishments.
